FAQ

All tools and materials will be supplied, however if you have hand tools you wish to use, please bring them along.

If you are contemplating acquiring hand tools for your own use, it can be preferable to purchase second hand tools for better quality steel, performance and durability. Please do not purchase any tools prior to participating as there will be time to discuss this together during your course with guidance as to where to source tools, and how best to refurbish them.

There is ear and eye protection, sanitised before each class - do bring your own if you prefer, along with a (disposable) dust mask if you wish to use one.

An old work shirt or apron to protect your clothes is a good idea and wear closed shoes or boots. Loose hair and clothing are unsafe in a workshop environment.
